- Put your credential near the top – CDA, associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, state certificate. Directors check licensing requirements first.
- Name the age group and program type for each role: “Toddler room, ages 18–36 months, NAEYC-accredited center”.
- List CPR, First Aid and other required trainings with expiration dates. Centers need them on file before your first day.
- Describe a project or theme you led: topic, length, age group and what children gained. It shows your practice better than adjectives.
- If you speak a second language, highlight it. Bilingual educators are in demand in many programs.
