Tips for your UX designer resume
- Put your portfolio link prominently at the top. Without a portfolio, a UX application is rarely reviewed seriously.
- Show impact, not just artifacts: what changed for users and for the business? Measurable results convince more than beautiful screens.
- Describe your share honestly: research alone, in a team or as lead? UX is teamwork – your contribution still needs to be visible.
- Include accessibility experience with the standard and level (e.g. WCAG 2.2 AA). Many companies now need it.
- A designed resume is fine as long as it stays readable in one column. Many design teams still use applicant tracking systems.
